Ukraine approves 26 large enterprises for privatization in 2018

The Ukrainian government has approved a list of large enterprises for privatization in 2018. It includes 26 enterprises.

Small privatization in Ukraine will start in June 2018. This was stated by the Prime Minister, Vladimir Groisman. A large-scale privatization processes of preparation are also taking place, - the Prime Minister said.

Head of the State Property Fund, Vitaliy Trubarov, said that 18 enterprises are already in the Fund's management, including Ternopiloblenergo, Zaporizhiaoblenergo, Kharkivoblenergo, Mykolaivoblenergo and Khmelnytskoblenergo, Kherson, Dniprovska, Kryvy Rih and Severodonetsk combined heat and power plants (CHPPs), Azovmash, Turboatom, Zaporizhia Titanium and Magnesium Combine, Oriana, Aluminum foil plant (state-owned enterprise), President Hotel, Centrenergo, Odesa Port-Side Plant and Sumykhimprom.

'Agrarian Fund' and 'State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine also were included to the list by the decision of the Committee.

According to the Acting Head of the SPF, the next step will be the approval of this list by the Cabinet of Ministers.
